It was early one morning, I found myself watching a symphony of little sparrows - rather delightfully playing among the flowers and on the long leafy branches of our Olive trees. So sweet to follow as they were teaching their young to fly and forage for their food. On reflection, I thought how resourceful they are as they go about their day and wondered, where do they go when, at times, their food source appears a little more scarce especially, during the cooler seasons.
In a quiet moment, while sitting on the steps of our cottage surrounded in the most delicate scent of old fashioned violets and a gentle chorus of birdsong in the air, I began to pencil sketch the garden life on paper. With an everlasting love for nature and the anticipation of the long awaited dreamy days of Summer approaching, I had drawn inspiration from nature's simplicity to create beautiful, natural gifts infused with the rustic charm and romance of a cottage garden.
